Story: | Stephen Morris, down from Oxford, unable to afford marriage, becomes a pilot with Captain Stenning's Air-taxi company providing joyrides on the South Coast. When the company fails he obtains work as a designer and occasional test-pilot with Captain Rawdon's struggling aircraft manufacturing company. His fellow pilot Captain Riley is killed testing a new aircraft. Morris modifies a later design and successfully flies it. Despite a tempting job offer he remains faithful to his employer and meets again the girl he seeks to marry. | |
